1. Submission opens on Oct. 1st, and closes on Nov. 15th, 2019.

2.  There are four categories.

a) General (Open Theme – Open to all)

b) Tripura – I Love You

c) Young Photographers of Tripura **

d) Women Photographers of Tripura

3. Any participant can submit upto maximum 6 images per category.

4. Please NOTE

4.1) A photographer from outside Tripura can submit upto 6 images in general category only.

4.2) Applicable only for the people of Tripura ↓

a) A MALE general competitor can submit in categories “a” and “b”. 

b) A FEMALE general competitor can submit in “a”, “b” and “d”. 

c) A Male Young Photographer can submit in categories “a”, “b” and “c”.

d) A Female Young Photographer can submit in ALL categories.

5. How to submit

2. Also, send us those images to this WhatsApp No. as Document. 9436580834 (Minimum 3MB, Maximum 10MB)

[Please always include your name, category and serial no. of your submission.

6.  You maybe asked to submit your original image by mail anytime.

7. You must mention the category with the images. Otherwise, they are liable to be discarded.

8. You can not tag pictures to anybody.

9. The APCMPC committee reserves the right to disqualify any image, cancel any category or the prize money without showing any reason.

অনুগ্রহ করে মনে রাখবেন, এবছর থেকে (APCMPC 2019) প্রতিযোগীতার “জেনারেল ক্যাটাগরি” সকলের জন্য খোলে দেয়া হবে।
এই মহাবিশ্বের যেকোনো ফটোগ্রাফার জেনারেল ক্যাটাগরি বিভাগে অংশগ্রহণ করতে পারবেন।
বাকি তিনটি বিভাগ পূর্ববর্তী বছরগুলির মতোই শুধুমাত্র ত্রিপুরার ফোটোগ্রাফারদের জন্য উন্মুক্ত থাকবে।

১. ছবি নেয়া হবে অক্টোবর ১ থেকে নভেম্বর ১৫ পর্যন্ত।

২. প্রতিযোগিতার  চারটে বিভাগ 

ক) জেনারেল (যেকোনো বিষয় – সবার জন্য উন্মুক্ত)

নিচের ৩ টি বিভাগ শুধুমাত্র ত্রিপুরার ফটোগ্রাফারদের জন্য উন্মুক্ত।

খ) ত্রিপুরা – আই লাভ ইউ

গ) ইয়ং ফটোগ্রাফার্স অফ ত্রিপুরা

ঘ) উইমেন ফটোগ্রাফার্স অফ ত্রিপুরা

৩. আপনি যে যে বিভাগে উপযুক্ত তার প্রত্যেক বিভাগে ৬টি করে ছবি দিতে পারবেন।

৪. লক্ষ্য করুন

৪.১. ত্রিপুরার বাইরের কোনো ফটোগ্রাফার শুধুমাত্র জেনারেল ক্যাটাগরিতে সর্বোচ্চ ৬ টি ছবি জমা দিতে পারবেন।

৪.২. নিম্নলিখিত নিয়মাবলী শুধুমাত্র ত্রিপুরার ফটোগ্রাফারদের জন্য প্রযোজ্য ↓

ক) একজন পুরুষ প্রতিযোগী “ক” এবং “খ” বিভাগে মোট ১২টি ছবি জমা দিতে পারবেন।

খ) একজন মহিলা প্রতিযোগিনী “ক”, “খ” এবং “ঘ” বিভাগে মোট ১৮টি ছবি জমা দিতে পারবেন।

গ) একজন স্কুল ছাত্র ফটোগ্রাফার “ক”, “খ” এবং “গ” বিভাগে মোট ১৮টি ছবি জমা দিতে পারবেন।

ঘ) একজন স্কুল ছাত্রী ফটোগ্রাফার সমস্ত বিভাগে মোট ২৪টি ছবি জমা দিতে পারবেন।

৫. কিভাবে ছবি জমা দিতে হবে

আমাদের ফেসবুক গ্রূপ পেজে আপনার ছবি আপলোড করুন:

Whatsapp–এর ৯৪৩৬৫৮০৮৩৪ এই নম্বরে তিন থেকে দশ মেগাবাইট সাইজ এ ছবিগুলি “ডকুমেন্ট” হিসেবে আপলোড করুন।

আপলোড করার সময় কোন বিভাগে ছবি দিচ্ছেন এবং সেই বিভাগের কত নম্বর ছবি সেটা উল্লেখ করতে হবে।

উদাহরণ:

General – Submission No 1, 2 or 3

৬. দয়া করে মূল ছবিটি (RAW or Original JPEG) রাখবেন। যেকোনো সময় সেটা চাওয়া হতে পারে।

৭. যে বিভাগে ছবি জমা দিচ্ছেন (যেমন – জেনারেল, ত্রিপুরা আই লাভ ইউ, ইয়ং ফটোগ্রাফার্স, উইমেন ফটোগ্রাফার্স) দয়া করে সেটা উল্লেখ করবেন, না হলে সেই ছবি জেনারেল ক্যাটাগরির জন্য বিবেচিত হবে।

৮. ছবিগুলো কাউকে “ট্যাগ” করবেন না।

৯. কোন কারণ না দেখিয়ে যেকোনো ছবি বা যেকোনো গ্রূপ বাতিল করার ক্ষমতা কমিটির থাকবে, পুরস্কারের অর্থমূল্যও পরিবর্তিত হতে পারে।

DETAILS OF RULES & REGULATIONS

1. ELIGIBILITY

1.1 The competition is open ONLY to  the permanent residents of Tripura living in or outside of Tripura and people at present living in Tripura for their studies/jobs etc. EXCEPT the “General Category” which is open to all.

1.2 Images that have won prizes in prior competitions, or have been used for commercial purposes and/or been published in any media in any form will not be eligible.

1.3 The family members and close relatives of the organisers will not be eligible for participation

2. SUBMISSION OF ENTRIES

2.1 Images should be uploaded to our facebook group page https://www.facebook.com/groups/APCMPC2015/

The Organisers may request for higher resolution images subsequently. The ORIGINAL images should be at least 3 MB in size as winning images may be printed and exhibited in the subsequent years of competition. Initial submission may be of any size accepted by the Facebook 

2.2 Submitted images should be in JPEG format.

2.3 Each participant can submit up to 6 (six) images in each eligible category.

2.4 Digital manipulation that distorts the reality of the images will not be allowed. Only basic enhancements such as sharpening, contrast/brightness adjustment, or simple cropping are allowed. Saturation /vibrance adjustment may be allowed to a very small degree.  Any addition or subtraction (cloning in or out- except dust spots removal) will immediately disqualify an image.

2.5  Digital framing should not be done

2.6 Scanned pictures/slides are acceptable-and scratches and dust spots can be removed by software during scanning but not by cloning afterwards.

2.7 Blended images are eligible but composite of multiple pictures are not eligible except simple stitched panoramas.

2.8 The organisers reserves the right to reject images with incomplete details required under the photo submission page. 

2.9  All submitted images are non-returnable and becomes the property of the organisation. The Organisation reserves the right to use the image for future publicity/promotion & If done so, the owner will be informed. 

2.10 The participant should be able to send the original high res image on request.

2.11 The submissions will open on Oct. 1st, and will close on Nov. 15th, 11.59 PM – Indian Standard Time (IST).  The Organisers reserve the right to change that deadline if deemed necessary. 

2.12 Photographers submitting from other countries should pay attention to the deadline date and time as mentioned above.

3. COPYRIGHT/INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

3.1 Each image submitted must be the original work of the participant who must also be its copyright owner. Any dispute arising out of a copyright issue will have to be handled by the participant. The organisers will not be responsible or.liable for any copyright infringement. Images that include paintings, statues, sculptures and other works of art will be accepted as long as they do not infringe copyrights or commit fraud. Individuals should be prepared to provide judges with a release form and/or a model release if asked. The image must be an original image taken by the Contest entrant. By entering the Contest, the entrant acknowledges, represents and warrants that the image is an original work created only by the entrant and the image does not infringe or misappropriate any copyrights, trademarks, rights of privacy/publicity or other intellectual property or proprietary rights. Images that are obscene, sexually explicit, or otherwise inappropriate will not be accepted.

3.2 The participant will retain copyright to the image entered for the competition.

3.3 By submitting an image for the competition, the participant will be regarded as having granted the organiser the right to use the image in print, broadcast and/or electronic media without any fee payment, for the purposes of promoting the competition Where any image is so used by the organiser, the participant will be acknowledged accordingly.

3.4 Images received by the organiser through the competition will not be used by the organiser for commercial purposes without the participant’s written consent.

4. PRIZES

4.1 Prizes are non-transferrable and non-exchangeable. Prizes will be awarded in Cash only

4.2 The organiser reserves the right to change or replace the competition prizes and/or modify the rules and regulations of the competition as and when necessary, without prior notice.

4.3 The winner of the prizes will be solely responsible for paying taxes (if any) on the prize money.

5. JUDGING AND RESULTS

5.1 The images will be selected by a panel of judges appointed by the organisers and their decisions will be final and binding. No correspondence pertaining to the selection process and decision will be entertained. No person will be able to challenge the decisions of the judges in a court of law.

5.2 The panel of judges will evaluate the images individually and create a result sheet.  Defined aspects of the picture will be looked at, scored and averaged 

5.4 The judging panel reserves the right not to award any prize if the images submitted do not meet the standards set by them previously.

5.5 Results of the competition will be declared on the last day of the exhibition and prizes will be awarded in the closing ceremony of the exhibition. The date, time and venue of the exhibition will be announced well before the set date.

5.6  No personal communication in any form will not be entertained and any solicitation/backing will immediately disqualify the participant.

6. ACCEPTANCE OF RULES AND REGULATIONS

6.1 By submitting an image for the competition, the participant will be regarded as having accepted and agreed to be bound by the rules and regulations of the competition.

6.2 While the organiser will exercise due care during the collection, selection and storage of images, they will not be liable for any loss, theft or destruction of the images during transmission orsubsequently..

6.3 If any conflicting issue arises subsequently, the Organisers reserve the right to add/delete/modify/change rules and regulations at their sole discretion.

6.4 None of the decisions/changes made by the Organisers can be challenged in a court of Law.

6.5 The organisers will have the right to cancel the competition, if deemed necessary, without giving any reason.

6.6 Photographs submitted will not be returned in any form.

7. Representations and Warranties

By submitting a Contest Entry or accepting any prize, you represent, warrant and covenant the following: (a) you will not submit content that infringes or otherwise violates any copyrights, trademarks, trade secret rights or other intellectual property rights or other proprietary rights, including privacy and publicity rights, unless you are the owner of such rights or have permission from their rightful owner to post the content and to grant APCMPC all of the rights granted therein; (b) you will not publish falsehoods or misrepresentations that could damage the reputation of APCMPC sponsor ; (c) you will not submit content that is unlawful, obscene, defamatory, libelous, threatening, pornographic, harassing, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive, or encourages conduct that would be considered a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability, violate any law, or is otherwise inappropriate or destructive to APCMPC or any Sponsor’s brand image or goodwill; (d) you will not post advertisements or solicitations of business; (e) neither APCMPC nor any Sponsor will be obligated to pay any compensation to, or permit any participation by, any third party in connection with the use, reproduction, modification, publication, display or other exploitation of any of the content that you submit; and (f) the content submitted by you does not contain any viruses, Trojan horses, worms or other disabling devices or harmful code.

The organisers are a group of passionate photographers who are dedicated to advancing the art of photography in Tripura. They were individually selected by Swapan chaudhuri, MD,   Who conceived this noble idea to promote photography in Tripura-the state he was born in and  brought up.
